This list is a record of the official Vietnamese spellings for Pokémon names. Names are listed by number in the order dictated by the National Pokédex, meaning that Pokémon from the Kanto region will appear first, followed by those from Johto, Hoenn, and subsequent regions.
The Vietnamese names of most Pokémon are simply the trademarked romanizations of their Japanese names. Mudkip and Pelipper are the only Pokémon whose Vietnamese names (Mizugrou[1][2] and Peplipper[3][4]) differ significantly from their Japanese names (Mizugorou and Pelipper).
